AFC 99 Girls off to a great 2012 start

AFC '99G got off to a great start for the 2012/2013 season by taking first place in the King Tut Tournament this past weekend at the FC Dallas Soccer Complex in Frisco. They won 3 of their 4 matches in a 100 degree +,  rain filled, condensed, two day schedule. Each of their victories were highlighted by strong defensive play which resulted in shut-outs in all three games. The offense shined as well, scoring 8 goals in 4 games.

Their hard work resulted in a climb of 37 spots upward in the North Texas Regional Rankings. These girls moved up from a previous ranking of 75th in the region all the way up to 38th overall in North Texas. Way to go girls, keep it up!

AFC Lands Second Practice Field

AFC is pleased to announce that our new practice field is now open! After a lot of hard work from some amazing volunteers, the field has bee prepared. The new field, located at Crossroads Bible Church, provides our teams with a new full size practice field in Double Oak. Located directly across FM 407 from the Chinn Chapel Soccer Complex, the new location is easily accessible and provides much needed practice space and flexibility. The new field will be fully equipped with regulation goals and can accommodate 3 teams at a time, freeing up turf space at Game On. AFC is very excited about this new partnership with Crossroads Bible Church and look forward to providing you a great place to practice.
